FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creation of selective membranes, using the principle expense of selective gas diffusion through a thin film of metals or their alloys. The method includes the application onto two-layer ceramic substrate with through porosity of selective film of metal or its alloy using the method of magnetron sputtering of the target and condensation in vacuum. Ceramics from magnesia of aluminium with two levels of through porosity is used as a substrate. The first layer of the substrate contains through pores with the diameter from 5 up to 5000 microns, the second layer contains dense system of holes with the diameter from 5 up to 100 nm.
EFFECT: membranes with high selective hydrogen permeability, performance, reliability.
