FIELD: materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a powdered material for laser sintering, to a method for producing said material, as well as to a solid object. Powdered material has a narrowed melting curve relative to untreated material. Method for producing a powdered material comprises heating of a thermoplastic polymer under inert gas atmosphere, starting at a specified temperature, to modify melting temperature (Tm), recrystallization temperature (Trc) and melt enthalpy (ΔHm). Treatment temperature is not more than 30 degrees C, not more than 20 degrees C or not more than 10 degrees C lower, than melting temperature (Tm) of the untreated material. Heat time is at least one hour. Solid object is formed by additive manufacturing of said powdered material.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of selective laser sintering (SLS) and higher product quality.
