FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a system for preventing unauthorized vehicle access, comprising a key switch, a radio receiver of the vehicle and a radio interference device installed inside the vehicle. Key fob comprises a radio transmitter and is configured to transmit data to the radio receiver in an encoded form on a given frequency band, and the device for generating radio interference is configured to establish radio interference in the frequency range of the data transmission channel between the key fob and the radio receiver of the vehicle. Communication channel for generating radio interference does not coincide with the communication channel for transmitting data from the key fob. Disclosed also is a method of preventing unauthorized access to a vehicle.
EFFECT: higher vehicle safety against unauthorized access and theft due to additional radio interference.
