FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a panxediol-type ginsenoside derivative having a structure presented in formula I or formula II. In formula I and formula II, R1 is , where R3 is methyl; R2 has the structure presented in formula III: formula III; in formula III n = 0, 1 or 2, R4 is methyl or ethyl, R5 is one of hydrogen atom, unsubstituted C3-C4 alkyl, unsubstituted benzyl, C1-C2 hydroxyalkyl, -CH2CH2COOCH3, -CH2COOCH2CH3, hydroxybenzyl, -CH2-(1H-imidazol-4-yl) and -CH2-(1H-indol-3-yl). Invention also relates to a method of producing and using a panaxdiol-type ginsenoside derivative.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining novel derivatives of panaxdiol-type ginsenoside, having a structure of formula I or formula II, which can be used to produce a drug for preventing and treating atherosclerosis.
