FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a collagen-based coating, comprising applying an aqueous dispersion of collagen on different surfaces, including on the surface of the implants, where the application is carried out by aerosol dispersion, wherein to remove residual amount of solvent from obtained coating is performed by heat treatment at temperature not exceeding temperature of denaturation of collagen, forming a coating of separate microdroplets, not forming continuous layer, in gas flow greater than liquid flow by not less than 3 orders, wherein an aqueous dispersion of collagen with a pH factor in range of 5 to 8 is used, and for its preparation, at first, mixing is performed, which ensures breakdown of conglomerates over 100 microns and homogeneity of collagen distribution by volume of dispersion with provision of sedimentation time of not less than 30 seconds, then ultrasound treatment with power 0.06 W/ml and duration of not more than 20 minutes and then performing centrifugation at not more than 200 g.

EFFECT: reduced degree of damage of native fibrillar structure of collagen fiber during processing and application of dispersion, stabilization of collagen dispersion without using methods or reagents that break its fibrillar structure, as well as obtaining a dispersion containing mainly elongated structures of collagen (fiber), and method of forming coating from dispersion should have universality in relation to used substrates and scalability in relation to area of formed coating.
