FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in complex treatment of vocal fold knots of professional vocalists. For this purpose, with the limitation of occupational voice load without prescribing complete silence, Traumel C is administered daily 1 tablet 3 times day 20 minutes before meals under tongue for 2 weeks, at the same time for 12 days once a day, local treatment is performed with mandatory sequence of procedures: pouring solution of Lydase 64 Units per 2.0 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution into larynx drop by drop for 2 minutes under control of indirect microlaryngoscopy, electrophoresis with 3 % potassium iodide solution on larynx, inhalation of dexamethasone solution 2 mg per 5 ml of 0.9 % sodium chloride solution for 10 minutes through nebulizer inhaler.
EFFECT: method enables recovery of close contact between vocal folds at their closure due to resorption of vocal fold knots when recovering in a short period of time without surgical treatment of voice quality required for return to professional activity.
