FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to development of ballistic rocket solid fuels (BRSF) with improved ballistic characteristics. Invention relates to a universal catalyst for burning ballistite solid propellants containing individual catalysts, for example nickel carbonate, nickel salicylate, copper salicylate or mixtures thereof, or copper-lead phthalate in combination with carbon Taunit-MD (T-MD) nanotubes at ratio of individual catalyst or mixture of catalysts and carbon nanotubes from 1:1 to 4:1.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of ballistic fuel for various purposes with increased combustion rate of 3–10 and reduced dependence on pressure and initial temperature of charge in wide pressure interval.
