FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of development of energetic composite solid propellants (CSP) containing cyclic nitramines, octogen in particular. The method for octogen burning speed control that implies adding powdered titanium dioxide in its crystalline modification anatase or crystalline modification rutile with the specific area of 90-230 m2/g added in the amount of 1.5 - 3.0 mass percent. The method provides for dramatically accelerated octogen burning velocity in a broad pressure range, enables a v power exponent decrease in the burning-rate exponent law and is characterized by high manufacturability, safety and simple design.
EFFECT: creation for CSPs and octogen-containing powders.
