DEVICE FOR NON-CONTACT MAGNETOMETRIC DIAGNOSTICS OF TECHNICAL STATE OF STEEL PIPELINES TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE VALUE OF BACKGROUND MAGNETIC FIELD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B23P6/00

Abstract RU 2731117 C1

FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to examination of coated surfaces, for example, for magnetic diagnostics of steel pipelines without removal of insulation coating, in particular to non-contact diagnostics, and is a device for diagnosing the technical condition of steel pipelines and can be used in flaw detection. Device for diagnosing technical condition of metal pipelines comprises two three-component magnetic field sensors located at different height levels relative to pipelines, each of which contains three magnetic field induction meters located respectively along axes X, Y, Z, where X axis is located in horizontal plane and perpendicular to pipeline longitudinal axis; axis Y is located parallel to longitudinal axis of pipeline; axis Z is perpendicular to axes X and Y, and also comprises first and second amplifiers, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), device for determining difference of induction values of magnetic field along axes X, Y, Z, controller, a memory unit and an information display device, wherein the first, second and third gauges of the first three-component sensor are respectively connected to the first, second and third inputs of the first amplifier, first, second and third meters of the second three-component sensor are connected to the first, second and third inputs of the second amplifier, respectively, outputs of the first and second amplifier are connected to the first and second inputs of the ADC, respectively, and the output of the first ADC is connected to the first input of the signal correction device, the first output of the controller is connected to the memory unit, and its second output is connected to the information display device, at that, additionally comprises the third three-component magnetic field sensor containing three magnetic field induction meters located outside the pipeline magnetic field influence zone, the third amplifier, the second ADC, wireless data transmission device, a signal correction device, wherein the first, second and third meters of the third three-component sensor are connected to the first, second and third inputs of the third amplifier, respectively, the output of the third amplifier is connected to the input of the second ADC, the output of which is connected to the input of the wireless data transmission device, the output of which is connected to the input of the signal correction unit, the output of which is connected to the controller.

EFFECT: high reliability of magnetometric diagnostic data by taking into account the value of the background magnetic field.
