SUBSTANCE: method of establishing a communication session comprises: transmitting, by the terminal device, the first message to the object to the AMF function, where said first message comprises first information, first information on selection of communication network slices and second information on selection of communication network slices, said first information comprises information for requesting session setup in PDU format, first information on selection of communication network sections is used by AMF function object to select first object of session management function (SMF), and the second communication network section selection information is used by the AMF function entity to select the second SMF function entity; and reception by terminal device of second message sent by AMF function object, where said second message comprises second information, and said second information comprises information on receiving session setup in PDU format.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling accurate determination by an object of an access and mobility management (AMF) function of auxiliary information for selecting one communication network slice (S-NSSAI) in order to complete a session setup in PDU format.
