SUBSTANCE: object of a session management function is determined based on at least one of a name of a data transmission network, segment information, and an identifier of an application function service. The first message is transmitted to the object of the session management function, where the first message is used for subscription for an event of a terminal device. The first message includes service description information, and service description information is used for indication of a service corresponding to the event of the terminal device. According to technical solutions in the present disclosure, subscription for the event of the terminal device is performed by the object of the session management function, which controls a specific service. When receiving a notification about detection of the service from an object of a user plane function, the object of the session management function prescribes an object of an access and mobility management function to track the event of the terminal device.
EFFECT: provision of signing of an event of a terminal device and tracking for a specific service in 5G architecture.
