FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: use in power engineering for installation of short-circuit indicator (SCI) on overhead power line (OL) wire and its dismantling from OL wire. Method consists in the fact that helicopter type aircraft is used, in the barrel of which before take-off SCI is fixed in position, at which arrangement of locking lever SCI is located above the upper edge of the shell, after which the aircraft flies from below to the wire in the place where SCI is to be installed, continues to move upwards to position when wire gets into narrow part between guides installed on aircraft, distance between which is somewhat larger than wire diameter, and, continuing upward movement, introduces wire into space between SCI clamping and thrust clamps, with further upward movement of aircraft, wire presses on guard, clamp is released and presses wire to thrust clamp, dismantling of SCI from wire is carried out by approach of aircraft to hanging on SCI wire, using guides and slopes, SCi body is inserted upwards inside sleeve, and with further movement of aircraft up upper edge of cartridge presses on locking lever, which is turned from it, releasing thrust bracket for its rotation, after which the aircraft starts to move downward, SCI under action of its gravity, as well as friction forces of spring clamps on its housing slides off the wire and is fixed in the barrel, the aircraft returns SCI to the ground. A corresponding device is also disclosed.
EFFECT: high safety of the SCI installation process and its dismantling from the OL wire.
