SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry to install a short circuit indicator on an overhead power line wire. The clamp contains a clamping bracket mounted movably on the axis and equipped with a spring mounted on the same axis. There is also a support bracket made as a whole with the body. There are corresponding recesses on the brackets. A spacer rod is movably fixed on the axis of the support bracket, interacting with the stop of the clamping bracket. A folding thrust lever is placed on the body, interacting with the short end of the spring. The top of the brackets is made with slots, and the edges of one bracket are placed opposite the slots of the other bracket.
EFFECT: simplification of the design implementation of the clamp.
