FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an automated system for investigating polymer and composite materials, having a thermal chamber, a temperature control system in a thermal chamber, a system for collecting, processing and presenting information, software control system which realizes automated execution of research programs, characterized by that additionally a system for determining geometric parameters of a sample, system for supplying HF signal to thermal chamber, system of actuators (for example, step motor) with feedback, uninterrupted power supply system of specified level of power and reference voltage, filtering system of signals from sensors at hardware and software level, wherein thermal chamber is structurally designed so that it has built-in working capacitor, where test specimen is placed.
EFFECT: present invention improves accuracy and efficiency of determining electrophysical parameters and temperature boundaries of phase-relaxation and aggregate junctions in polymer materials in a wide range of temperatures and frequencies.
