Disclosed are a system for tracking the development of a child, a portable device for providing information on child development, a matting for swaddling a child and a computer-readable medium, containing computer program instructions, which are executed on a portable device. System comprises a portable device including a camera and a processor, and weighing scales. Weighing scales are configured so that to measure the weight of the child and transmit information on the measured weight to the portable device. Portable device for providing information on child development comprises a camera for capturing images, an information processing processor. Baby changing mat used for changing diapers to a child comprises weighing scales, which comprise a transceiver for communication with a portable device.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides more effective monitoring of child's development.
