SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capacitive sensor of a digital converter. Capacitive sensor of the digital converter comprises: a sensor layer superimposed on the display and coated with an elastic layer, wherein the sensor layer comprises a structure of current conducting elements distributed along the sensor layer, wherein the current conducting elements are electrically isolated from each other, wherein the sensor layer is configured for capacitance recognition; wherein sensor layer is adapted to detect local compression based on pressure applied to resilient layer, wherein elastic layer is formed with matrix of dot separation elements coated with solid coating film, wherein dot separating elements are formed from material having hardness between 20–40 units on Shore durometer, and the solid coating film is a sensor interaction surface, to which the user interacts.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of fixing interaction of object while sensitive surface of capacitance sensor is wet and / or under water.
