SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics, pulmonology and paediatrics. Disclosed is a method for diagnosing bronchial obstructive syndrome by recording respiratory noises using an electronic stethoscope at certain points in which a patient is recorded respiratory noise using an electronic stethoscope for 25 seconds, in turns at three points: on anterior surface of neck above trachea, on anterior surface of right part of thorax, on back surface on right, with their subsequent partitioning into intervals of 170 ms, processing on a computer using for each interval fast Fourier transform (FFT) based on FFT signal pseudospectrum is obtained in frequency range from 200 to 2000 Hz; picking peaks on pseudo-spectrum, calculating front area of each obtained peak by following formula: where i is the peak number, pi is the peak area of the ith peak, Ai(ƒ) is the pseudospectrum function, ƒ - frequency of signal, ƒ0i - frequency of minimum value of ith peak, ƒƒi - frequency of maximum value of ith peak, then coefficient of wheezing is calculated in following ranges: in the point on the front surface of the neck above the trachea - from 1200 to 1600 Hz, for the point on the front surface of the right part of the chest - from 600 to 1000 Hz, for the point on the back surface on the right - from 400 to 800 Hz, using the following formulas: where Kw is the rattle coefficient, Pmax is the sum of squared areas of peak fronts in 5 % of maximum values pi, pi max is peak area of peak, which is in 5 % of maximum values pi, n is number of peaks in 5 % of maximum values pi, n = 0.05N, P is sum of square squares of fronts of all peaks, N is number of all peaks, and if wheezing index is more than 42 %, presence of broncho-obstructive syndrome is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and sensitivity of the method by determining a threshold value.
