FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing gauge into mouth. Respiratory noise of forced exhalation is recorded. The registered respiratory noise is processed with computer using wavelet-analysis. Frequent and non-uniform peaks being detected on wavelet-spectrogram in a low frequencies bandwidth below 300 Hz and in high frequencies bandwidth from 2000 to 18000 Hz, bronchial obstruction syndrome is to be diagnosed.
EFFECT: high signal processing sensitivity.
