FIELD: pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply pipelines, domestic sewerage pipelines, rainwater systems, industrial and other gutters, pipelines for chemical liquids transportation, in particular, to glass composite adapter. Glass-composite adapter for pressure and pressure-free pipelines laid by micro tunnelling consists of housing (1), assembly (3) and seal (2). Glass-composite adapter consists of at least three layers interconnected by adhesion with cured thermosetting matrix. Inner layer (1.3) is based on thermosetting binders and glass fibre fillers. Structural layer (1.2) is based on thermosetting binders, glass fibre fillers and quartz sand. Outer layer (1.1) is based on thermosetting binders and glass fibre fillers. At that, on one of adapters ends adapter end face assembly (3) made by layer-by-layer lamination is made.

EFFECT: improved sealing of pipelines, increased strength and rigidity of connection of glass composite adapter with tunnel-piercing complex.
