FIELD: pipeline restoration.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fitting element (1) for the use in the restoration of pipelines using liner (2), wherein the fitting element is a composite product made of reinforcing fibers and a polymer composition, in which first part (11) of the fitting element contains reinforcing fibers and, essentially, a fully cured polymer composition, in which second part (12) of the fitting element contains dry reinforcing fibers that can take the curable polymer composition, the source of which, if necessary, is liner (2), forming a functional connection between fitting element (1) and at least part of liner (2), and in which interface layer (15) of the fitting element constructively connects first (11) and second parts (12) by binding reinforcing fibers of second part (12) with the polymer of first part (11).

EFFECT: invention provides a more efficient and reliable method for connecting the liner to another liner or to the fitting element in the process of restoring a pipe instantly and for a long-term service life of the restored pipe.
