FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to the field of centrifugal pumps, and can be used for pumps, pumping liquids, including explosion-and-fire hazardous media. Impeller of centrifugal pump comprises hub, rear and cover disks and vanes arranged there between. Covering disc is a composite structure of two parts, where inlet part is cast as integral part of impeller, and second one made of sheet material in form of conical ring installed on inlet part of impeller along inner diameter with fit without gap, and by outer diameter is welded to blades through cutouts in shape of outlet edges of blades. Impeller pump impeller design can be made according to another embodiment, in which cover disk is a composite structure of two parts, where inlet part is made by casting as a whole with impeller, and second, made of sheet material in form of conical ring, is welded to inlet part of impeller along inner diameter, and along outer diameter is welded to blades through cutouts in shape of outlet edges of blades.

EFFECT: design options provide manufacturability of the impeller, which reduces labour intensity of removing remains of the ceramic mould after casting.
