FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: first wireless device performs "device-to-device" (D2D) communication processing with a second wireless device during handover of the first wireless device from the source network node to the target network node in the wireless communication network. First wireless device terminates D2D communication, determines first uplink timing difference as difference between uplink scheduling for source network node and uplink scheduling for target network node, reconfigures the D2D link based on the first uplink timing difference and restarts the D2D link in accordance with the reconfiguration.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of efficient use of resources and mutual interference processing.
