SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of a failure in a radio communication line in a wireless communication network. A method for processing a radio communication line failure (RLF) in the first group of cells in a wireless communication network, performed by user equipment (UE), and the UE participates in the current communication with the wireless communication network using the first group of cells and the second group of cells, and packet duplication is applied to the current communication either at the dual connectivity level or at the carrier aggregation level in a new radio, and the method contains stages at which it is detected that RLF occurs in one or more cells from the first group of cells, after detecting the RLF, a report is sent to the network node in the wireless network via one or more cells from the second group of cells while maintaining communication with the wireless network using one or more cells from the second group of cells, and the report contains information about the radio communication line relative to the RLF in one or more cells from the first group of cells, and the first group of cells contains one or more primary cells, and the second group of cells contains one or more secondary cells, in this case, the report instructs the second network node to process RLF in one or more cells from the first group of cells without interrupting communication with the wireless network.

EFFECT: increase in the performance of the wireless communication network.
