WIRELESS DEVICE, NETWORK NODE AND CORRESPONDING METHODS OF PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H04L5/00

Abstract RU 2668569 C1

FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication. Method is provided by a wireless device to perform transmission of an uplink control channel in a serving cell in a wireless communication network. Wireless device is configured with a set of serving cell(s) in the wireless communication network. First, the wireless device determines the number of serving cells from the set of serving cell(s) that are considered suitable when performing the uplink control channel transmission in the serving cell. Secondly, the wireless device selects the format of the uplink control channel from the set of uplink control channel formats for transmissions of the uplink control channel based on a certain number of serving cells. Wireless device then transmits the uplink control channel in the serving cell using the selected uplink control channel format. Also provided a wireless device for performing transmission of an uplink control channel in a serving cell in a wireless communication network, a network node and a corresponding method for enabling the uplink control channel to be transmitted by a wireless device in a serving cell in a wireless communication network.

EFFECT: technical result is improved transmission of the uplink control channel.
