FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. User authentication method performed by at least one computing device comprises steps of: receiving a request for user authentication; obtaining data on type of authentication selected by user, and single user account identifier (ID); recording user authentication operation and generating an operation identifier; generating QR-code, which includes information on operation identifier, and assigning corresponding status to it; tracking QR code status; based on the QR code status data determining that the user authentication operation is confirmed by the user, after which operation ID of single user account is stored in operation parameters and user is authenticated by ID of single user account.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling tracking QR-code status.
