FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental monitoring and can be used for assessment of environmental hazard of unauthorized landfill. Determining the following characteristics of the landfill: area, approximate composition of stored wastes, distance from human habitats, water bodies and specially protected natural areas, volume of formed filtrate, time of existence, size of harm to soil as an environmental object. Class of environmental hazard is assigned to unauthorized landfill, for which specific actual characteristics of the landfill are compared in turn to data of the table, in which compliance of said characteristics with the hazard class of the landfill is provided.
EFFECT: technical result is faster assessment.
