FIELD: chemistry; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anode composition for making anodes with improved electrochemical properties based on non-graphitized carbon for potassium-ion batteries. Anode composition contains non-graphitized carbon in amount of 80–86 wt%, a current-conducting additive in amount of 3–8 wt%, a binding agent and carbon nanotubes in amount of 1–5 wt% per total weight of solid substances of the anode composition. Method of producing anode for potassium-ion accumulators based on non-graphitized carbon includes preparation of paste from said anode composition, applying it to the current collector, drying the anode tape to remove the solvent, rolling the anode strip, cutting the anode electrode therefrom and drying it in a vacuum. Invention also relates to anode made from anode composition containing carbon nanotubes, and to potassium-ion accumulator containing anode made from anode composition containing carbon nanotubes.

EFFECT: high value of Coulombic efficiency at the first cycle in potassium-ion cells during cycling.
