SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to absorbent article (1) comprising main part (2) having liquid-permeable top sheet (3), liquid-impermeable back sheet (4) and absorbing core (5) located between said top sheet (3) and said back sheet (4), wherein said main part (2) is located along longitudinal axis (Y1) and transverse axis (X1) extending perpendicular to longitudinal axis (Y1), wherein in said main part (2) there are front part (6), rear part (7) and perineal part (8), wherein said article (1) comprises first wing (9) and second wing (10) extending outwardly from said perineal portion (8) of main part (2) in opposite directions asymmetrically relative to longitudinal axis (Y1) and substantially along said transverse axes (X1), wherein said wings (9, 10) are provided with fastening means (11, 12) configured to provide attachment of said wings (9, 10) to the article of clothing when they are bent relative to said main part (2) and towards said longitudinal axis (Y1). In addition, wings (9, 10) extend substantially along a common straight line (13), which forms a first angle (α1) relative to said transverse axis (X1), which is greater than 0° but less than 45°, and each wing (9, 10) has outer edge (14, 15), which is substantially rectilinear and parallel to longitudinal axis (Y1).
