FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to layer-by-layer manufacturing of volumetric metal article. Method includes layer-by-layer supply of powder to working surface of construction chamber and construction platform movable in vertical direction, levelling of the layer and fusion with the laser beam of the sections of the layer on the construction platform, which are identical to sections on the cross sections previously formed by means of the given program of the three-dimensional computer model of the article, and vacuum removal of non-fused material into corresponding container powder. Before fusion of laser sections of sections of layer on platform of construction, lowering of construction platform, removal of non-fused material from working surface of construction chamber into separate container and lifting of construction platform.
EFFECT: reduction of costs for recovery of used non-fused powder, as well as increase in the article geometrical dimensions accuracy.
