FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cap for a nasal spray device and a method of dispensing a liquid substance for treating a nose. Cap includes a spray dispenser. Cap contains a base tightly installed on the container with liquid substance subject to spraying. Cap has an intermediate section made with possibility of back-and-forth movement relative to the base. Intermediate section includes a spray dispenser and has a spraying channel. Cap includes a cover having a pressing flexible part connected to the intermediate section. Cap comprises LED (light-emitted diode) connected to power supply by electric circuit. LED is mounted near the spraying channel so that it is inserted into the nostril. Pressure flexible part is made with possibility of electric circuit closing to switch on the light-emitting diode and to actuate the spray dispenser, to provide both illumination, and spraying the photosensitizing liquid substance into the nostril. LED is configured to emit radiation biologically stimulating the area irrigated with the photosensitizing liquid substance. Method includes simultaneously carried out steps, at which sprayed spray of photosensitizing liquid substance is dispensed through spraying channel and light-emitting diode is ignited, installed near spraying channel, so that radiation emitted by LED, biologically stimulated zone irrigated with photosensitizing liquid substance.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility to supply liquid containing (or not containing) drug, simultaneously illuminating zone into which spraying is performed, wherein the two operations are performed by one user action.
