FIELD: artificial increase of precipitation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in arid regions for protection against drought. Upstream flows are initiated by heating surface air from solar radiation. From particles with radius from 0.1 to 0.8 mcm in dosage of not less than 1012 particles per 1 m2 continuous artificial aerosol layer absorbing solar radiation is created, on an area of not less than 1 km2.
EFFECT: enabling initiation of thermal convection and creation of ascending flows, artificial convective clouds and precipitation in a cloudless atmosphere, as well as intensification of natural clouds and precipitation due to use of solar radiation energy.
