FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to support civil or construction engineering structures, such as, for example, bridges or buildings, including seismically isolated ones. Sliding support is made with possibility of use as, for example, seismic insulator and is intended for supporting civil or construction engineering structures, such as, for example, bridges or buildings, bins, storages or cranes of large sizes, nuclear reactors or their component parts. Support comprises a base and an upper support, a sliding element which is located between the base and the upper support and to which the base and the upper support are pressed. Sliding member comprises at least one layer of slippery material, which in turn contains one or more fluorinated polymers with weight ratio equal to 50 % or more. Slippery material contains boron nitride in hexagonal form with mass fraction within 1–10 %.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing seismic isolation of structures by using slippery material, having mechanical properties, id est less sensitive to temperature and humidity of environment.
