FIELD: heating system.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric heat-conductive electrically insulating composite materials (CM) and can be used in the manufacture of heat-removing elements, including cooling radiators, in electrical and electronic devices of various purposes. The heat-conductive CM is prepared by the polymerization filling method and comprises ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) as a polymer matrix, and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) particles as a filler, with a layered structure, an average size of 8 mcm, dispersed by ultrasonic treatment to plate-like particles with a ratio of the length to the thickness l/d of not less than 20, in an amount from 40 to 95 wt %, and has: thermal conductivity λ|| when measured in the direction of the heat flux parallel to the force application plane during pressing of at least 6.0 W/m⋅K, thermal conductivity λ when measured in the direction of the heat flux perpendicular to the force application plane during pressing of at least 3.4 W/m⋅K, and the electrical conductivity σdc not more than 10-12 Om-1⋅cm-1.

EFFECT: proposed composite material has high heat-conducting and dielectric properties in combination with good physical and mechanical properties.
