FIELD: chemical or physical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for separation and analysis of microfluidic samples. Said device comprises: separation channel; first channel for electrolyte, configured to provide flow of used solution of high-conductivity electrolyte, and equipped with positive electrode in outlet hole downstream of said channel; second channel for electrolyte, configured to provide flow of used solution of high-conductivity electrolyte, and provided with negative electrode in outlet hole downstream of said channel; wherein said electrolyte stream through said first and second electrolyte channels removes electrophoresis products and gas bubbles from said device, and the presence of said electrolyte provides a substantially homogeneous electric field along the entire said separation channel.
EFFECT: placing said positive and negative electrodes in the outlet downstream of said first and second electrolyte channels provides a significant advantage, since it provides a means of active transfer of products, such as products of electrophoresis, accompanying changes of local pH and removal of heat from the above microfluid device without direct entry of any of them into microfluid channels.
