FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a first conveying means configured to transport fish (10) head forward on lateral sides of fish, having loading channel (12), which is configured to direct fish in direction (11) of transportation and has platform (13) forming first plane of transportation, at least one guide roller (14, 28) located at a distance from platform (13) and configured to position fish (10) in loading channel (12) in transverse direction. Guide roller (14, 28) passes along width of loading channel (12) and has at least one section (15) with cross section of reduced diameter, which is located eccentrically relative to center of loading channel (12), wherein guide roll (14, 28) cross-section diameter, starting from section (15) increases in direction of both outer sections (21) of guide roller (14, 28), so that section (15) with reduced cross-section of reduced diameter together with outer sections (21) forms concave outer contour (22) of guide roller (14, 28) forming mating part for geometry of cross section of fish (10). Platform (13) located in the centre of channel (12) has transfer groove (16) expanding in direction (11) of transportation and intended for movement of fish (10) under action of gravity in guide channel (17) located below the first transportation plane, by orientation, in which abdominal parts/backs are equally located in transverse direction. Guide channel (17) has lateral guide surfaces (18, 19), each of which is inclined relative to first transportation plane, and second conveying means (20), forming second transportation plane and configured to transport fish (10) on its lateral sides, said second conveying means being located downstream of guide channel (17) and intended for receiving fish (10) at the end of guide channel.
EFFECT: group of inventions relates to fish-processing industry, namely to a method and device for orientation of abdominal parts/backs of fish.
