FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to appliances for electrophoresis substance delivery. The method involves inserting an ear swab into a patient's external ear canal, packing a part of a flexible sealing element of the ear swab tightly in the external ear canal to create a cavity between the ear swab and eardrum by deforming and adjusting the flexible sealing element to an external ear canal shape, and introducing an electrophoresis substance into the ear swab to fill the cavity between the ear swab and ear drum; when introducing the electrophoresis substance, a pressure increases in the cavity between the ear swab and ear drum; the fluid is drained from the cavity through microholes in the flexible sealing element for pressure reduction. The system comprises the ear swab accommodating the flexible sealing element with an elongated tube; the flexible sealing element has a distal sealing surface with a number of microholes, wherein the distal sealing surface is configured to form a tight packing between the system and external ear canal by deforming and adjusting the flexible sealing element to an external ear canal shape; the microholes are configured to drain the fluid from the cavity between the ear swab and ear drum when the pressure exceed its threshold; there is also provided a electrode device configured movable in an inner tube and comprising an elongated trunk connected to an electrode tip.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions enables simultaneous eardrum electrophoresis from both sides.
