FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnet assembly (100) suitable for a mass spectrometer comprising one yoke (110) and two pole tips (122; 124); wherein said pole tips (122, 124) are contained in vacuum chamber (160) and separated from each other by a gap between pole tips defining passage (130) for charged particles to be reflected; wherein said yoke (110) forms a bridge over said two pole tips (122, 124), thereby forming magnetic circuit. Said electromagnet assembly (100) further comprises one electric circuit (150) for generating a magnetic flux in said magnetic circuit, wherein said electric circuit (150) is contained in said yoke (110). Said electromagnet assembly (100) is notable in that said pole tips (122, 124) are electrically isolated from said electric circuit (150) and from said yoke (110) by first electric insulating element (170; 272) and electrically isolated from said of vacuum chamber (160).
EFFECT: technical result is increase in electromagnet compactness.
