FIELD: medicine; immunology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to infectious diseases and aims at treating immune complications caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Clostridium difficile infections or combinations thereof. For treating the above complications, a composition containing immunoglobulin M (IgM), where IgM purity is at least 90 % (w/v), is administered to a patient in need thereof. Said composition is also used for treating hyperactivation of the immune system caused by infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Clostridium difficile or combinations thereof.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions provides effective suppression of immune complications, in particular immune system hyperactivation, caused by infections of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Clostridium difficile or their combinations.
