FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of neutralizing secreted cytotoxic exotoxins during active microbial infections in a subject, comprising administering to said subject a composition, containing natural blood plasma IgM (immunoglobulin M), obtained from the blood fractionation process effluent, in a pharmaceutical carrier, where the composition is administered in an amount, effective for neutralization of said secreted cytotoxic exotoxins, and where said cytotoxic exotoxins are secreted by Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium tetani microorganisms and combinations thereof. Group of inventions also relates to a method of treating an infectious disease caused by microorganisms Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium tetani and combinations thereof, in a subject, comprising administering to said subject a composition comprising a natural blood plasma IgM obtained from an effluent from a blood fractionation process in a pharmaceutical carrier; using said composition for treating a condition associated with cytotoxic exotoxins secreted by Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium tetani microorganisms and combinations thereof, during active microbial infections.
