FIELD: high-voltage engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage engineering and can be used for cleaning gases from environmentally harmful impurities, air disinfection and sterilization by means of low-temperature plasma generated by pulsed streamer corona discharges. To this end, an electrophysical device is provided, comprising at least one grounded electrode and at least one high-voltage electrode comprising initiators of pulse streamer corona discharges on at least one of its sides, with formation between adjacent earthed and high-voltage electrodes of reactor chamber, in which initiators of pulse streamer corona discharges are located, as well as pulse voltage generator, to which high-voltage electrode is connected. At that, initiators of pulse streamer corona discharges located on high-voltage electrode are made in the form of half-ellipsoids of rotation.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of the device.
