SUBSTANCE: method and device for additive production with detection in real time of powder layer surface deformation relates to additive production technology. Method includes control of beam (5) for raster scanning of powder layer surface and formation of raster lines, control of image forming device (3) for formation of image of raster lines and determining whether the raster lines are deformed or not in accordance with the raster lines image formation result, and the additive production stopping if the raster lines are deformed and the deformation level exceeds the allowable value.

EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting deformation of the surface of the powder layer.
