SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of screw-type propulsor. A screw ridge is made on the cylindrical surface of the screw propulsor oriented to the bearing plane of the propulsor. A screw-type propulsor is made in the form of a semi-cylinder, on the cylindrical surface of which there are screw grooves embedded into a half-cylinder, into which caterpillar tracks are laid. Drive is mounted on longitudinal plane of semi-cylinder passing through its axis of symmetry.

EFFECT: as a result, manufacturing technology of screw propellers is simplified.
