FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to off-road transport equipment, and can be used as wheelchair propulsor for overcoming stair flights of common use. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Helical discontinuous crest is made in the form of a system of springs, each of which is oriented on a support plane of the propulsor, providing flexible connection of two shafts. One of shafts has drive to transfer torque to spring.
EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propeller when moving on solid surfaces with obstacles.
