The method for manufacturing a screw propeller includes obtaining a rotating screw ridge on the cylindrical surface of the screw propeller, oriented to the reference plane of the propeller. The role of the rotating screw ridge is played by the points of the spring farthest from the cylindrical surface of the propeller, which has elliptical components of winding on the cylindrical surface of the propeller with one focus of the component on the axis of rotation of the propeller.

EFFECT: simplification of manufacturing technology and expanding the functionality of using the auger propeller for movement on hard surfaces with obstacles.
