FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to alloyed cast irons for production of articles intended for operation under conditions of intense impact-friction wear under action of cyclic loads, in particular, units of freight cars bogies. Cast iron contains, wt. %: carbon 2.3–2.8; silicon 1.3–1.5; manganese 0.6–1.0; chromium 0.05–0.3; copper 0.05–0.3; nickel 0.4–0.7; molybdenum 0.4–0.7; phosphorus 0.05–0.2; sulphur 0.05–0.1; vanadium 0.2–0.4; iron is balance.
EFFECT: technical result is high crack resistance and hardness of cast iron with high impact viscosity and maintaining high properties of casting properties.
