SUBSTANCE: unique and distinctive glue circuit is applied on the main tape, such as nonwoven material. Adhesive circuit may comprise a plurality of processed discrete areas which can pass parallel in the belt lengthwise direction. Each treated discrete area may contain head part connected with tail part. In one embodiment, the head portion can have a larger amount of the adhesive composition, in terms of weight to area, relative to the amount of the adhesive composition contained in the tail portion. Total length of the treated discrete area can be relatively short relative to glue circuits made in the past using traditional coating processes using a slotted hole.
EFFECT: adhesive scheme provides reliable attachment to adjacent material and can provide various advantages in processing.
