SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for seismic survey operations. Disclosed is a method of making a seismic sensor, comprising providing a first seismic sensor and a second seismic sensor inside an elongated tubular body having a longitudinal axis. First seismic sensor and the second seismic sensor consist of sensor devices for measuring movement of particles along several axes and are intended for measurement of data of translational movement in the first direction. Said particle motion sensors are spaced from each other along a second, different direction along said longitudinal axis. Method also includes sealing said housing to protect particles movement sensors and providing communication connection with particles movement sensors for transmitting signals detected by particles movement sensors, in a system for calculating rotary motion data around a third direction based at least in part on computation of the translational data gradient relative to the second direction.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and informativeness of the data.
