FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method for feeding quails, including feeding with addition of an additive containing beer grains and microorganisms, characterized by that in quails of aged age, starting from 1 day to 56 days of age, a fodder additive is added daily at rate of 1.5–3 % of the fodder weight, wherein a sterilized beer grains with microorganisms are added to the feed additive, represented by Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp.shermanii - KM 186 and Azotobacter chroococcum VKPM - 6011, taken in ratio of 2:1, in amount of 1–2 % of weight of beer grains and adding a perlite hygroscopic component in ratio of 1:1 by volume mixture, consisting of beer grains and a consortium of microorganisms, which are mixed and cultivated for 24 hours at temperature 28–30 °C.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to increase growth of live mass of quail, as well as its productivity and safety.
