FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to a method for production of a fodder additive for quail. Method involves mixing sterilized brewer grains with a consortium of microorganisms. Consortium of microorganisms used is Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp. shermanii – KM 186 and Azotobacter chroococcum VKPM – 6011, taken in ratio 2:1, in amount of 1–2 % of brewer’s grains weight. After that, one introduces a perlite hygroscopic component at ratio of 1:1 by volume of the mixture consisting of brewer grains and a consortium of microorganisms, mixed and cultivated for 24 hours at temperature of 28–30 °C.

EFFECT: invention usage allows to reduce expenses for fodder preparation and increase of quail live weight, as well as to increase their productivity and safety.
