FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery and can be applied for treating recurrent ingrown nail of a great toe. Falciform skin and subcoetaneous fat incision is performed. Flaps are formed on both sides of the great toe and moved to a sole side. Skin without subcutaneous fat is incised by two parallel sections along a free border of a nail plate to form a continuous groove along side and front sides of the great toe. The wound edges are sutured along the whole length.
EFFECT: method allows reducing a risk of recurrence.
